We have found it, London’s most instagrammable spa. Designed by Martin Brudnizki (aka the interior designer behind Annabel’s), Linnaean in the new Nine Elms development is a one-stop shop for all your beauty needs. Inside it’s a social media influencer’s dream with interiors of pale pinks, baby blues, gold finishes and a roof covered in flowers.
Whilst you might go for the shot, we’d recommend you stay for the treatments. Specifically the deep tissue massage, which will loosen the tightest knots, the ones we get slaving away in front of a laptop 24/7. The therapist uses some serious pressure, touching muscles we never even knew existed. Treatment rooms come with the choice of two playlists designed by music architects and the floral theme is continued in the rooms – it’s certainly a change from the standard white or muted tones and telephone hold music. If massages aren’t your thing you’ll also find a hair salon, nail stations, make-up, waxing, facials and a range of medi-spa treatments like micro-needling.
Once you’re done in the spa we’d suggest hitting the cafe and checking out some of the gluten-free, healthy AF lunch options like the Goodness Bowl with melon seeded crackers, quinoa, guac, beet hummus, mixed salad, watermelon radish pickle, crudités and spiralised courgette topped with cashew lime mayo. Basically a treatment for your insides in a bowl. Pair with one of the juices and you’ll leave feeling holier than thou. Just avoid those massive cakes on the way out…
