1 MEATliquor W1MK II Open For 24 Hours, Oxford Circus
Having kicked off the summer by opening their brand new flagship central London bar and diner W1MK II, MEATliquor have upped the ante once again by opening for 24 hours on National Burger Day. If that wasn’t enough, they’ve also managed to secure a 24-hour alcohol licence for 22 August to make sure diners don’t go thirsty. The burger boss will open at 11.30am on Wednesday 21 August and won’t close until 3am on Friday 23 August. Yes, you’re right, that is in fact 39.5 hours! From 5am-11.30am, the kitchen will also be serving Breakfast Burgers, which come in meat (pork sausage patty, bacon, mushrooms, egg), veggie (mushrooms, halloumi, egg) and vegan (mushrooms, hash browns) options. Pair it with an English Breakfast Martini or a low alcohol Stiegl Grapefruit Radler to start NBD the right way!

2 Mac & Wild’s Double Dirty Dip Donut Burger
London’s favorite Scottish restaurant, Mac & Wild, is serving up the Double Dirty Dip Donut Burger for National Burger Day. The sweet/savoury combination will be on the menu for two days only, featuring a flavourful blend of two aged-beef patties piled high with smoked chilli jam, quick pickle peppers, tattie rosti, jalapeño and bacon cheese melt. And the pièce de résistance? It’s all stuffed inside a dip-glazed donut bun. Priced £13. Limited availability from both Mac & Wild restaurants in Fitzrovia and Devonshire Square.

To celebrate National Burger Day on Thursday 22 August, burger legends Patty & Bun is going back to basics with the simple but epic Burger Day Banger. This special burger has a double beef patty with aged beef fat mayo and double smoked cheddar in a brioche bun. 4 STK’s Supersize Sharer Burger, the Strand
STK is celebrating National Burger Day with a whopping Supersize Sharer Burger. Available for one day only, the double giant beef and chorizo patty will be stacked with chilli lime marinated tiger prawns, chipotle and cheddar cheese sauce and served in between a smoked bacon and parmesan bun. Weighing in at 1,500g, The Supersize Sharer Burger is recommended for 2-3 people, and even comes with STK’s famous parmesan truffle chips. £55.

This National Burger Day the chef’s Brasserie Blanc restaurants, with locations on Chancery Lane, Threadneadle Street, South Bank, Fulham Reach and Tower of London, are serving up the limited-edition Bouef Burger’gnon. Back by popular demand, the burger features a tender beef patty, onion rings, crispy bacon, tomato and a rich red wine bourguignon sauce, plus French fries, for £15. Hard Rock’s award-winning steak burgers launched as part of the new menu in May. They’re all created with a proprietary blend of 100% Certified Angus Beef to produce the most flavorful burger possible, but the 24-Karat Gold Leaf Steak Burger is something else – gold, on a burger? Yes please! As well as a 227g fresh steak burger topped with 24-Karat edible gold leaf, you get cheddar cheese, leaf lettuce, vine-ripened tomato and red onion. Hawker House’s National Burger Day Party Becomes Bundance

After six sell-out years of the National Burger Day party, Street Feast is taking it to the next level by launching Bundance – Europe’s biggest burger bash – with the strongest line-up yet. Sixteen superstars of the burger world will come together at Hawker House, Street Feast’s mega market in Canada Water, to treat us all to exclusive one-off specials and time-honoured classics. Each burger will be served slider-sized so that you can try to plough through the lot, including Galway’s Handsome Burger – just voted as OFFICIALLY the best burger in Ireland – Indian barbecue experts Brigadiers, and the Insta-famous Dexter Cheeseburger from Four Legs. They’ll also be six bars keeping the craft beer, wine and cocktails flowing. 5pm-12am. Tickets are £12, including a beer on arrival and a MacPickleback shot.
