Magic Breakfast, the charity that provides school children with healthy brekkies to ensure they don’t go hungry, is holding a special fundraising brunch this month. Held at Bistrotheque, The Magic Brunch will feature four signature dishes from Bistrotheque (french toast with strawberry jam and fromage frais), The Good Egg (flatbreads and labneh with red harissa, pumpkin seed relish and soft boiled eggs), Polpo (ricotta doughnuts and cinnamon sugar) and Farmer J (sharing shak), with Juliet Sear whipping up a breakfast-themed cake. Dalston bar Three Sheets will be shaking up the cocktails including tomato wines, rhubarb spritzes and Bloody Marys, and there’ll be raffles, games and a silent auction to keep you entertained between all that eating and drinking.
The tickets are £65, which includes all food and four drinks, and this covers a healthy breakfast for a disadvantaged child every school day for a year. Good food and a very good deed.
See where else we go brunching right here.
